North Carolina Education Lottery signs ten-year signage deal with Cineplex Digital Media

The agreement includes digital signage solution at retailers across the US state.

US.- The North Carolina Education Lottery has signed a ten-year agreement with Cineplex Digital Media (CDM), a division of the Canadian brand Cineplex. The company will provide a digital signage network solution at retailers across the state.

The company said CDM was chosen due to extensive retail experience and its design, content strategy and data expertise. The firm’s solution includes digital menu boards inside more than 1,500 lottery retail partner locations and claim centres with an opportunity to expand to more.

Terri Rose, chief brand officer of North Carolina Education Lottery, said: “We constantly look for innovative ways to connect with our players. North Carolina sports betting handle decreases in April

The North Carolina State Lottery Commission’s sports wagering revenue report for April showed that the eight interactive sports wagering operators licensed in the state took a combined handle of $576.2m, down 16 per cent from March’s $685m. Players won $525.3m and gross wagering revenue totalled $46.8m, up 22 per cent from March ($38.1m). With an 18 per cent tax rate, the estimated tax proceeds for the month will be $8.4m.
