New Jersey Super Bowl wagers down against 2025
Wagering on this year’s game totalled $126.5m.
US.- The New Jersey Division of Gaming Enforcement (DGE) has announced preliminary wagering data on Super Bowl LX, held on February 8. According to numbers from Atlantic City casinos, racetracks, and 14 online sportsbooks, bets on the game totalled $126.5m, with a projected payout of $87.8m.
In the 2025 edition, bets totalled $168.7m with a payout of $143.5m.
The report stated that the hold percentage was 31.6 per cent in 2026 compared to 14.9 per cent last year. Operator revenues were $38.7m compared to $25.2m in 2025.
The DGE recently announced that total gaming revenue from casinos, racetracks, and their partners reached $605.6m in December. This figure represents an increase of 15.9 per cent year-on-year, though it is a decrease of 4.9 per cent compared to November 2025.
Casino win stood at $216.1m, a drop of 6.7 per cent compared to the same period in December 2024. However, the vertical was offset by online gaming win, which totalled $273.2m, up 19.8 per cent year-on-year. Sports betting gross revenue reached $116.3m, an increase of 85 per cent. Total gross revenue taxes for the month were $89.9m.
