New Jersey gaming revenue rises in August
Revenue for casinos, racetracks and their partners was up 15.7 per cent year-over-year.
US.- The New Jersey Division of Gaming Enforcement has reported that gaming revenue for casinos, racetracks and their partners was $642.2m in August. That’s a rise of 15.7 per cent year-over-year and 5.94 per cent from July.
The casino win for the nine casino hotels was $311.9m, up 6.1 per cent in year-on-year terms and 9.79 per cent sequentially. The internet gaming win was $248.4m, up 25.2 per cent year-on-year and 0.449 per cent compared to July. Sports wagering gross revenue totalled $81.9m, up 30.6 per cent year-on-year and 9.49 per cent sequentially.
The year-to-date casino win was $1.98bn. That’s an increase of 2.8 per cent. The internet gaming win was $1.88bn, up 23.5 per cenr, and sports wagering gross revenue $708.7m, down 1 per cent. Year-to-date total gaming revenue was $4.57bn, a rise of 9.7 per cent.
