New Hampshire sports betting handle reaches $78.8m in December
The handle decreased 13.3 per cent from December 2022.
US.- New Hampshire’s sports betting handle was $78.8m in December, down 13.3 per cent from December 2022 ($90.9m) but up 0.4 per cent from November 2023 ($78.5m). Players wagered $67m online and $11.7m at retail sportsbooks.
Gross gaming revenue was $7.7m, down 7.2 per cent from December 2022 and down 6.1 per cent from November. Online sports betting accounted for $6.7m of all revenue. The remaining $972,039 came from retail wagering. All online bets in New Hampshire are placed through DraftKings, which has exclusive rights in the state.
The state collected $3.4m from sports betting activities, $2.9m from online wagering and $437,417 from retail.
The New Hampshire Lottery reported a record $603m in sales for its last fiscal year. That’s a rise of 12 per cent from the previous high of $536.5m in 2022. The lottery generated a record $187m in support of New Hampshire public education, up 27 per cent.
