Mississippi casino revenue rises in February
Adjusted gross gaming revenue increased 5.8 per cent year-over-year.
US.- The Mississippi Gaming Commission (MGC) has released its casino report for February. Casinos generated $200.6m in adjusted gross gaming revenue, up 5.8 per cent year-over-year. In January 2026, casinos generated 189m.
The regulator breaks revenue down across Central, Coastal, and Northern regions. The Coastal region generated $131.6m in adjusted gross gaming revenue, 65 per cent of the total. The Central region generated $27.7m and the Northern region $41.2m.
In the first two months of 2026, adjusted gross gaming revenue totalled $389.6m. The Coastal generated $262.9m, the Central region posted $52m and in the Northern region $74.7m.
The sports betting handle was $21m, down 31.3 per cent year-over-year and down from $36.7m in January 2026. The Coastal region generated $13.5m in bets, the Central region $5m and the Northern region $2.6m. Taxable revenue was $3.5m.
