Mississippi casino revenue remains flat in 2025
Adjusted gross gaming revenue decreased 0.1 per cent year-on-year.
US.- The Mississippi Gaming Commission (MGC) has reported that casinos in the state generated $2.43bn in revenue in 2025. That’s a decrease of 0.1 per cent from 2024.
The regulator breaks revenue down across three regions: Central, Coastal, and Northern. The Coastal region accounted for more than 65 per cent of all revenue at $1.59bn. This was up 0.63 per cent in year-on-year terms. In the Northern region, revenue was $522m, down 1.88 per cent year-over-year. The Central region generated $321m, up 0.94 per cent when compared to 2024.
The sports betting handle totalled $38.8m in December, down 31.9 per cent year-over-year. The Coastal region reported $28.5m in bets, representing more than half of the total handle in the state.
