Mississippi casino revenue declines in December
Adjusted gross gaming revenue decreased 3.1 per cent compared to November.
US.- The Mississippi Gaming Commission (MGC) has released its casino report for December. Casinos in the state generated $198.6m in adjusted gross gaming revenue, down 3.1 per cent compared to November 2025.
Coastal region casinos reported $126.6m in adjusted gross gaming revenue, accounting for more than 60 per cent of the total. In the Central region, casinos reported $27.8m and venues in the Northern region $44.2m.
For the year-to date, venues in the Coastal region posted $1.6bn, the Central region $321m and in the Northern region $522m. The sports betting handle totalled $38.8m in December, down 31.9 per cent year-over-year. The Coastal region reported $28.5m in bets, representing more than half of the total handle in the state.
