Louisiana poker room to resume operations
One of the most important poker rooms in Louisiana will resume operations on June 17 with strict safety measures.
US.- One of Louisiana’s main poker rooms will resume operations next week. After three months of lockdown, Coushatta Casino Resort has announced it will reopen its poker room on June 17.
The casino made the announcement in a statement saying that reopening will be permitted with strict measures in place to prevent the spread of Coronavirus.
In compliance with local authority guidelines on physical distancing, Coushatta’s poker room will run games with no more than seven players at a table.
Staff will have to switch and sanitise decks on a regular basis. There will be hand sanitiser stations around the room and players will be required to wear masks.
The 10-table room will open at 10 am and offer the same games as previously. Spread and poker players can expect to choose from US$4-$8 limit hold’ em, US$1-$3 no-limit hold’ em, US$2-US$5 no-limit hold’ em and a US$4-$8 Omaha hi-lo with a half kill. Staff will also take an interest list for other games and stakes upon request.
Coushatta Casino Resort is one of southwestern Louisiana’s biggest gaming destinations, located two hours west of Baton Rouge in Kinder.
