Louisiana gaming revenue increases in July

Revenue was $198.6m, up 9.8 per cent year-over-year.

US.- The Louisiana State Police has reported that the state’s casinos, riverboats and racetrack slot machines generated $198.6m in adjusted gross revenue (AGR) in July 2025. That’s a rise of 9.8 per cent from the same month in 2024.

Riverboat casinos reported $151m in revenue, up 9.4 per cent year-over-year, while racetracks generated $26.3m, up 4.8 per cent. Evangeline Downs reported revenue of  $6.3m, an increase of 3.4 per cent from the same period in 2024, and Fair Grounds $3.1m, up 4.5 per cent. Louisiana Downs’ revenue was $2.8m, down 11.6 per cent.

Golden Nugget Lake Charles led the riverboat market with $27m in revenue, up 7.1 per cent, L’Auberge Lake Charles reported $24.4m, up 7.1 per cent and Horseshoe Bossier City $13.6m, up 57.7 per cent.

Caesars New Orleans took $21.3m, up 20.4 per cent, Treasure Chest Casino $13.2m, up 6.1 per cent and L’Auberge Casino Hotel $13.3m, up 7.4 per cent. Live! Casino & Hotel Louisiana, which opened in February, took $9.4m.
