Las Vegas visits decline in October
Visits decreased by 4.4 per cent year-over-year.
US.- The Las Vegas Convention and Visitors Authority (LVCVA) has reported that 3.4 million people visited Las Vegas in October. That’s a decrease of 4.4 per cent from 3.56 million in the same month in 2024. In September 2025, 3.09 million people visited the city.
Hotel occupancy was 83.7 per cent, down 2 points, and the average daily rate (ADR) was $205, a decrease of 6 per cent year-over-year. The weekend occupancy rate was 92.7 per cent, down 1.9 points.
Hotel occupancy on The Strip was 86 per cent, down from 87.8 per cent in October 2024, while Downtown occupancy was 75.2 per cent, down from 80.4 per cent.
The LVCVA said: “October proved to be a strong convention month with attendance up 7.9 per cent year-over-year, supported in part by the scheduling shift of Oracle CloudWorld (30,000 attendees) which fell in October this year vs. September last year.”
The Nevada Gaming Control Board (NGCB) reported that the state’s casinos generated $1.35bn in revenue in October. That’s an increase of 4.95 per cent year-over-year.
Clark County, which includes the Strip, downtown Las Vegas, North Las Vegas, the Boulder Strip and surrounding areas, generated $1.2bn, up 5 per cent comapred to the same month in 2024. The Las Vegas Strip contributed $748.9m of that, up 8.2 per cent.
