Las Vegas airport reports passenger number decline in April

Passengers at Harry Reid International Airport were down by 7.1 per cent year-over-year.

US.- Las Vegas’ Harry Reid International Airport has reported that 4,379,755 passengers passed through in April. That’s a 7.1 per cent decrease year-over-year. Domestic travel continued to account for the majority of traffic, with 4,039,313 passengers, down 6.6 per cent from the same month in 2025. International passenger numbers were down 12.4 per cent at 272,386.

Among the top five domestic carriers, Southwest passengers decreased 3.9 per cent to 1,767,801, and Delta 2.8 per cent to 447,670. United passengers increased 3.7 per cent to 387,309.

Year-to-date passenger traffic stands at 16,935,330 travellers, down 5.6 per cent from 17,940,001 during the first four months of 2025.

Some 3.28 million people visited Las Vegas in April, according to the Las Vegas Convention and Visitors Authority (LVCVA). That’s a 1.8 per cent decrease year-over-year. The hotel occupancy for the month reached 83.1 per cent, down 1.5 points.
