Konami’s cabinet upgrades Concerto collection

Konami’s Concerto Collection momentum has been maximised by the introduction of the Premiere Curved Cabinet.

Japan.- With continued global momentum for Concerto SeleXion and Concerto Slant, Konami Gaming, Inc. is introducing its first curved cabinet to market with Concerto Crescent. Currently available across the US and abroad, Concerto Crescent features proven elements of the original upright machine—including its sleek black design, signature holographic lighting, and powerful KP3+ platform—and expands upon it with a cinematic 43-inch curved HD display.

“From a visual perspective, Concerto Crescent captures strong attention with the quality of its display and the appeal of all-new portrait-oriented game titles,” said Eduardo Aching, vice president, international sales. “When players sit down at the machine, they have the enjoyment of an immersive level of interaction that puts them right at the center of the action.”

Debut release themes Dragon Fury and Pharaoh’s Fury have seen considerable momentum across global audiences. Each features an expanded 7-8-8-8-7 reel layout, optimising Concerto Crescent’s extra-tall portrait orientation. These titles are also the first to include an all-new feature that dramatically increases the number of high-value top picture symbols across all reels during free games, up to 241 additional symbols.

“Based on the number of trigger symbols players collect, they are awarded an increasing volume of dragon or pharaoh symbols that rush to the reels in a fury of excitement at the start of the free games,” said Aching. “This has a huge impact for players as they watch the extra symbols fly onto the screen and discover tall symbol stacks added across the reels as they spin. It’s a mechanic that has seen outstanding performance for Australian markets, and now we’re proud to share it for the enjoyment of additional global audiences.”

Operators also have the option to add a 2-level standalone progressive to Dragon Fury and Pharaoh’s Fury to increase the excitement. This mystery trigger jackpot progressive is highly-configurable and offers customisable ‘must hit by’ range amounts.

“Crescent has achieved strong performance across the board, and the games with the added progressive are undoubtedly performing at a premium,” Aching said. “For properties that like to use high-value prize jackpots—such as recreational vehicles or vacation trips—they have the flexibility to configure the top maxi award as ‘PRIZE’ to attract players to a hot ticket promotional item.”

Looking ahead, Konami has a pipeline of additional titles to further expand the Concerto Crescent game library, including new single screen editions of classic favorites. China Shores Great Stacks, Mayan Chief Great Stacks, and Lotus Land Deluxe Wilds feature the recognisable game art and play mechanics that players love, with a new large 6×5 reel frame. Other titles include Lucky O’Leary Jackpots and Dragon Emblem Jackpots, each with built-in jackpot bonus awards and free game adventures for players to discover and enjoy. In the coming weeks at G2E Las Vegas, Konami is expected to deliver a robust variety of further titles designed to maximise Concerto Crescent’s portrait display with top creative game content.

“With the release of Konami’s new Concerto Crescent cabinet, we are focused on giving international operators full access to a rich library titles and flexible technology to provide the most long-term value for their business, not to mention leading game entertainment for players,” said Aching.
