Kansas sports betting revenue increases year-over-year
Revenue was up 85 per cent year-over-year.
US.- Kansas sports betting revenue totalled $17.2m in June, up 85 per cent year-over-year and down 6.1 per cent from May 2025. Online betting contributed $16.9m and retail $365,695.
According to the Kansas Lottery, the sports betting handle was $185.1m. Online betting contributed $181.7m and retail $3.4m.
DraftKings led the online market with a $75.5m handle and $7.3m in revenue. FanDuel reported $60.7m and $6.2m, while BetMGM generated $1.5m in revenue from a handle of $23.7m and Fanatics $954,392 from $12.6m.
ESPN Bet led the retail market with a $2m handle and $311,952 in revenue. FanDuel generated $21,452 in revenue from $955,261 in handle, Caesars $1,804 from $334,566, and DraftKings $30,487 from $89,985.
The state took $1.7m in taxes. For the fiscal year to date, revenue totalled $174.5m, with $167.8m from online and $6.7 from retail.
Kansas’s casino revenue was $34.2m in June, down 5.3 per cent year-over-year and 9 per cent from May’s $37.6m. All four casinos’ revenue fell year-over-year.
According to the Kansas Lottery, Hollywood Casino led the market with $13.7m, down 4.88 per cent compared to June 2024. Kansas Star Casino posted $13.5m, down 13.4 per cent, Boot Hill Casino $3.5m, down 13.4 per cent, and Kansas Crossing Casino $3.3m, down $4.7m.
