Kansas casino revenue increases year-over-year in July

Sports betting revenue was $10.5m.

US.- Kansas casino revenue totalled $36.2m in July, up 7 per cent from July 2024’s $33.8m. According to the Kansas Lottery, three of the state’s four casinos saw revenue increases.

Hollywood Casino led the market with $14.7m in revenue, down 7.38 per cent year-over-year, followed by Kansas Star Casino with $14.1m, up 9 per cent. Boot Hill Casino posted $3.8n, down 0,02 per cent, and Kansas Crossing Casino $3.5m, up 6 per cent.

Sports betting generated $10.5m in revenue. Online betting contributed $10.2m and retail $278,531. The handle was $173.8m, with online bets of $171.1m and retail $2.7m. The state took $1m in taxes.

Hollywood Casino, with ESPNBet provider, led the retail market with a $1.8m handle and $228,196 in revenue. Kansas Star, with FanDuel, reported a $521,782 handle and $23,194 in revenue, while KS Crossing, with Caesars, took $266,313 in bets and $15,721 in revenue. Boot Hill and DraftKings posted a $95,960 handle and $11,420 in revenue.

DraftKings led the online market with a $58.6m handle and $5.1m in revenue, BetMGM reported $53.4m in bets and FanDuel $37m.bFanatics posted $10.6m in bets and $849,854 in revenue, while Caesars posted $7m and $495,853 and ESPN Bet $4.6m and $381,778.

bet365 recently announced its launch in Kansas. It’s now live in 14 US states after launching in Illinois and Tennessee in March.
