Indiana to announce Vigo casino licence winner November 17
The applicants are Churchill Downs, Hard Rock, Full House Resorts and Premier Gaming Group.
US.- The Indiana Gaming Commission intends to announce on November 17 which company will get the licence to build a casino in Terre Haute, in Vigo County.
Churchill Downs, Hard Rock, Full House Resorts Inc. and Premier Gaming Group are competing for the licence. The Indiana Gaming Commission is examining the applications of each company.
Greg Small, executive director of the Indiana Gaming Commission said: “We have received four applications, so we are guaranteed a competitive process, which I think will be to the great benefit of both the state and the local community, specifically because I think we have four known operators that are gaming professionals in other jurisdictions. So I think we have a good process ahead of us.”
The licence to build the Terre Haute casino in Vigo County became available in June after the Indiana Gaming Commission unanimously declined to renew the licence for Lucy Luck Gaming. Lucky Luck Gaming, formerly Spectacle Jack, was the only applicant for the casino project in 2019.
