How BGaming plays for good
Kate Puteiko, BGaming’s chief marketing officer, explains why collaboration is the most effective and lasting way to make a positive impact on society.
Opinion.- Great companies leave more than a mark on their industry, they leave a positive footprint on society. At BGaming, we’ve found that real impact starts with collaborations, purpose, and the courage to try something different. That’s why we support projects that reflect our values, build strong partnerships, and create long-term benefits for the communities we engage with.
Rooted in values, driven by collaboration
One thing we’ve learned is that real change doesn’t happen in isolation. It’s the result of collaboration. That’s why we place such high value on partnerships, whether with nonprofits, creative communities, or other businesses. Working together not only brings fresh ideas and shared momentum, but also leads to a far greater impact than we could achieve alone.
This belief in collaboration shapes how we approach social responsibility. We don’t treat these initiatives as optional add-ons. They’re integrated into the way we work. The most effective and lasting efforts are those that grow directly from a company’s core values. When there’s a natural alignment between what we stand for and the causes we support, our actions carry more weight, feel more genuine, and lead to more meaningful outcomes.
DAR Bjorn charity gala: a night of purpose and elegance
Our commitment to social good isn’t limited to the creative world. In Malta, where BGaming continues to expand, we’ve taken steps to support health and care services.
One of our major recent efforts was co-hosting the DAR Bjorn Charity Gala, alongside White Label Casinos and NEXT.io. The event brought together around 400 guests from the igaming and local communities for a fundraising evening supporting the DAR Bjorn Respite project, an extension of the DAR Bjorn Neurological Home.
The centre will provide vital care for people with serious neurological conditions like ALS and MS. The gala helped raise €200,000 through ticket sales, donations, and an art auction. BGaming also contributed €20,000 toward constructing a key room in the new facility.
This event wasn’t just about raising funds – it was about shining a light on the incredible work DAR Bjorn is doing and creating a space for people to come together in support of a meaningful cause. I’m truly grateful to Focus Gaming News for supporting us as a Silver Sponsor of the event!
Doing good as part of the game plan
What connects all of BGaming’s initiatives — from supporting emerging artists in Brazil to contributing to healthcare efforts in Malta — is a shared belief that companies have a responsibility to use their resources with purpose and care. At BGaming, social responsibility is part of who we are, not just something we talk about.
We don’t chase trends or engage in charity for appearances. Instead, we invest in projects that align with our mission, reflect our values, and support our long-term vision. We choose to work with partners who share this mindset because when goals are truly aligned, the results are more meaningful and lasting.
As BGaming continues to grow, expanding into new regions and reaching wider audiences, our commitment to making a positive impact remains strong. For us, business isn’t a choice between profit and purpose. With the right focus and collaborators, it’s possible, and essential, to achieve both.
