Hard Rock opens temporary casino in Rockford, Illinois
With more than 600 slot machines, the venue will operate while construction advances on the permanent Hard Rock Casino.
US.- Hard Rock has opened the doors of its temporary casino in Rockford City, Illinois. It will host more than 600 slot machines, a sports bar, and a restaurant for 18 to 24 months while construction on the permanent Hard Rock Casino is underway.
Located at Giovanni’s Restaurant and Convention Center, the temporary casino is expected to operate for two years in the city of Rockford, while the $310m permanent casino venue is being constructed.

Hard Rock has hired nearly 300 employees to work at the temporary casino, which is open 24/7.
