Gaming Realms revenue tracks up in first half

Revenue is up by 18 per cent year-on-year.

UK.- The AIM-listed mobile-focused game developer and licensor Gaming Realms has provided a pre-close trading update for the six months ended June 30. It’s reported revenue of approximately £16m, an increase of 18 per cent year-on-year.

Adjusted EBITDA is expected to come in at approximately £7.5m, which would represent an increase of 30 per cent year-on-year. The performance reflects continued growth in the group’s licensing business and its ongoing international expansion.

Trading was in line with forecasts, and the board believes this trajectory will continue during the remainder of the year.

“During the Period we had a successful launch of six new Slingo games and the addition of 19 new distribution partners. The Group’s strong pipeline of content and operator integrations continues to support its scalable, high-margin model,” the group said.

CEO Mark Segal commented: “We are delighted with our strong performance in the first half of 2025. The continued growth in our core licensing business and the successful execution of our expansion strategy have delivered excellent results. We look forward to building on this momentum in the second half of this year.”

St8 gains British licence

Meanwhile, there’s a newcomer on the British market as igaming aggregation provider St8 has gained a B2B licence from the Gambling Commission. The company is now permitted to supply online casino and mobile sports betting operators in the market. As well as games, it offers a back-office with reporting and analytics tools and a new promotions management tool.

St8 CEO Vladimir Negine said: “Securing a UK licence is another major milestone for St8. The UK remains a benchmark for regulation and player protection, and we’re excited to bring our tech-led approach to this mature and competitive market.

“We’re absolutely committed to supporting our operator partners in regulated markets around the world, and we’re already working on securing additional licences,” he said.
