La Française des Jeux’s (FDJ) new Go Mojo platform is based on blockchain technology.

France.- French gaming operator La Française des Jeux (FDJ) has launched a free-play digital gaming platform using blockchain technology.

Go Mojo allows players to win prizes of up to €100,000 and uses blockchain technology to enhance security and data integrity.

Players can earn virtual currency to pay for entry to various types of games with quick gameplay and pop culture themes that aim to appeal to younger players.

Customers receive 30 credits on sign-up and then earn more by watching ads or through referral bonuses.

Seven games can currently be played to accumulate credits which can then be bet on three games – Go Mojo, Go 100 and Go Lucky – for the chance to win real-money prizes.

The title game Go Mojo has weekly draws with a top prize of €100,000 on Wednesdays and Sundays, while Go 100 holds draws with prizes of up to €100 every two minutes and Go Lucky has a weekly raffle format with a €500 prize every Monday.

Players can withdraw winnings of €20 or more after verifying their age using national identity documents. The platform was developed with new media specialist Redpill.

FDJ is not the first gaming company to look into the use of blockchain technology for game development. In April, Atari launched an online casino that accepts its own cryptocurrency token.
