Florida slot revenue decreases in February

The state’s eight non-tribal casinos generated $58.4m in net slot revenue.

US.- Florida’s non-tribal casinos generated $58.4m in net slot revenue in February. That’s a drop of 0.1 per cent compared to February 2024 and 2.2 per cent from January 2025.

Of the eight non-tribal casinos, Harrah’s Pompano Beach Casino led the market with $11.1m in revenue, down 6.4 per cent year-over-year. It was followed by Magic City Casino with $11m, up by 7.4 per cent year-over-year.

Hialeah Park Casino took $8m in revenue, up 3.2 per cent; Calder Race Course $7.3m, down 8.9 per cent; Casino Miami $7.1m, down 8.8 per cent, and Gulfstream Park Racing & Casino $5.7m, up 8.4 per cent. Tax revenue totalled $20.4m.

The FGCC and Leon County Sheriff’s Office has shut down three illegal casinos in the Tallahassee area in an operation dubbed Operation Westside. The Florida Highway Patrol and the Department of Homeland Security Investigations assisted the operation, which led to five arrests and the seizure of $92,167 in cash, 401 illegal gambling machines and related equipment.

Agents seized 95 illegal slot machines and 124 other illegal gambling machines and $55,962 in cash at 6315 Blountstown Highway. At 4979 Blountstown Highway, agents seized 118 illegal slot machines and $16,065 in cash, and at 1907 Lake Bradford Road, agents seized 64 illegal slot machines and $20,140 in cash.
