FanDuel to donate $100,000 to Thoroughbred Aftercare Alliance

The company’s donation will be part of the FanDuel Kentucky Derby Party on May 2.

US.- FanDuel will make a $100,000 donation to the Thoroughbred Aftercare Alliance (TAA), a non-profit that accredits and provides grants for approved organisations that provide care, retraining, and rehoming for retired racehorses. The donation will be made at the FanDuel Kentucky Derby Party in Louisville on on May 2.

Andrew Moore, general manager of Racing at FanDuel, said: “The Kentucky Derby is a celebration of tradition, energy, and unforgettable moments. Horse racing is where FanDuel’s journey began, and it remains a central part of who we are as a company. Between the iconic FanDuel party and our donation to the Thoroughbred Aftercare Alliance, we’re looking forward to making FanDuel’s presence in Louisville known.”

TAA president Walt Robertson added: “For 5 years, FanDuel has generously supported Thoroughbred aftercare and the Thoroughbred Aftercare Alliance through an annual donation. The TAA is thrilled to continue to receive the donation in 2025 and grateful to FanDuel for its continued support.”

Shaboozey will headline the FanDuel Kentucky Derby Party at Paristown Arts and Entertainment District. Last year, the 150th edition of the Kentucky Derby at Churchill Downs broke records for handle.
