FanDuel appoints two senior public policy executives
The company has named Shailagh Murray as senior vice president of public affairs and Jonathan Nabavi as vice president of federal affairs.
US.- FanDuel Group has appointed Shailagh Murray as senior vice president of public affairs and Jonathan Nabavi as vice president of federal affairs.
Murray previously served as the executive vice president of public affairs at Columbia University. Before that, she served as senior advisor to President Obama and as vice president Biden’s deputy chief of staff and communications director. Her career started in journalism at the Wall Street Journal and Washington Post.
Nabavi joins the company from the National Football League (NFL) where he was responsible for all aspects of public policy and legislative agenda. He has also served in a variety of senior congressional staff and political roles, including as majority counsel for the United States Senate Committee on the Judiciary, providing strategic counsel to chairman Chuck Grassley. He also served as counsel for the House Committee on Oversight and Government Reform and as a senior adviser for multiple Members of the House of Representatives.

In November, the company named James Hartmann and Louis Trombetta as government relations directors.
