DraftKings to fund research on responsible gaming
The sports betting firm has announced a project on problem gambling through an agreement with the International Center for Responsible Gaming.
US.- The sports betting brand DraftKings has announced it will give financial support to the International Center for Responsible Gaming (ICRG) to produce responsible gaming research on sports betting.
The intention is for the Fund to Support Research on Sports Wagering to approach researchers around the world and invite those interested in research on problem gambling to submit applications for research that will achieve a deeper understanding of responsible gaming.
The fund expects to attract top-tier academic researchers. The application process is set to begin this summer and conclude by the end of September.

Open to any public, private or nonprofit US-based or international organizations, the fund will provide support for a three-year project to complete by 2024, although research findings may be published earlier.
