DraftKings becomes official sportsbook provider of Oregon Lottery

The transition to DraftKings Sportsbook app is set to begin on January 18.

US.- DraftKings has announced that it will become the official sportsbook provider of the Oregon Lottery. DraftKings Sportsbook will replace the current Scoreboard app.

The transition to the new app is set to begin on January 18. The current Scoreboard customers will be able to create a DraftKings account and transfer their funds to the new DraftKings Sportsbook app. Bettors will still have access to transaction histories, account information and the withdraw facility for six months after the transition.

DraftKings’ agreement with the Oregon Lottery marks the second exclusive lottery deal the company has made after partnering in 2019 with the New Hampshire Lottery.

In August, the Oregon Lottery approved switching its sports betting app from SBTech Scoreboard to DraftKings Sportsbook.

Unlike other states which allow several companies to offer up both in-person and mobile betting operations, Oregon sports betting has been a single-source operation with the state lottery using the Scoreboard app.
