Exclusive interview.- David Harris, operations lead at ReferOn, spoke to Focus Gaming News about the company’s affiliate management platform, its advantages for operators, and how it helps them maximise the real value of their affiliate business.

He also talked about how its tools help to optimise campaigns and shared a success story where ReferOn helped an operator grow their affiliate business.

What sets ReferOn apart from other affiliate management platforms?

ReferOn stands out from other affiliate management platforms because of its innovative solutions, such as Company Grouping, dynamic reporting, and fluid rewarding, its hands-on customer service approach and its dedication to providing educational material to both the public and our users. These factors combined make ReferOn a powerful tool that empowers operators and affiliates to activate their affiliate traffic.

One of the platform’s main tools is its dynamic real-time reporting functionality. Users can organise, filter and analyse all relevant metrics in a pivot format, which makes data collection and analysis easy and accessible.

We also prioritise customer service and support to ensure that every user can access the full potential of our tools. ReferOn also regularly hosts ReferOn Insights Seminar sessions, which aim to educate users about the platform’s capabilities and help the public learn more about ReferOn.

How does it help operators maximise the real value of their affiliate business?

In today’s digital economy, data is king. ReferOn understands this well, and we believe that making data easy to understand and accessible is key to empowering our users’ businesses. Our dynamic reports give users the ability to monitor key metrics in real-time so that they can make the best data-driven decisions for their business.

ReferOn was founded with the philosophy of catering to the needs of real operators and affiliates, and all of our technical updates and QoL improvements have reflected that mantra. We have made various updates to our reporting capabilities, registration page changes, admin-focused quality-of-life tweaks and various campaign management additions. To support all of these tools and solutions, we have a dedicated support team to help users navigate the platform and make the most out of our platform.

How do ReferOn’s reporting and analytics tools help operators optimise campaigns and improve affiliate performance?

ReferOn’s comprehensive reporting and analytics tools help operators optimise their campaigns by allowing them to collect, organise and analyse crucial affiliate traffic. The user-friendly dashboards make it easy for users to navigate and filter through any metrics they require. Our API integration makes ReferOn flexible with any external platforms so you can easily feed your affiliate data into our system. Users can also add custom variables without restrictions or limits so that they can track their own metrics. No need to ask our team to add these for you—our users have the power to organise and filter their own metrics as they wish. These tools give ReferOn users the information they need to optimise their campaigns and reach their business goals.

How does ReferOn ensure compliance, security, and transparency for both operators and affiliates in an evolving regulatory landscape?

ReferOn is more than just a platform for operators and affiliates to manage their campaigns. We provide industry insights and regulatory updates to help our users stay informed about the ever-changing and rapidly evolving igaming landscape. Our management team uses their expertise and knowledge to remain up-to-date on regulatory news, which we then use our various communications to educate our users. ReferOn also uses the ReferOn Insights Seminars as a more formal channel that will help update our audience on any important industry and company developments.

Can you share a success story where ReferOn helped an operator grow their affiliate business, and what lessons can be learned from it?

One particular case study we’re proud to share is with 2RBO Affiliates. The affiliate network was already a rapidly growing brand gaining significant traction. However, they noticed that their current affiliate management system stunted their growth due to its inflexible tools, so they sought a scalable solution to allow them to continue their expansion. They came across our platform and contacted us for more information.

We conducted numerous 1:1 sessions with their team and walked them through the migration process. They were happy to proceed after they learned the migration wouldn’t take more than a few hours and that they could resume operations instantly with minimal downtime. We arranged a date to migrate, and the process went without a hitch. That same day, they were able to access their data, trackers and networks on our improved dynamic data reporting features.

Although we’ve conducted over 15 migrations to date, we received direct feedback from 2RBO Affiliates expressing how valuable the seamless migration process was and how they appreciated our communication. This highlighted to us that one of ReferOn’s strengths is our client-facing communication and dedicated support.
