Churchill Downs announces retirement of Austin Miller as SVP of gaming operations
The company has promoted Maureen Adams, who entered the company eight years ago.
US.- Churchill Downs Incorporated (CDI) has announced that Austin Miller will retire on March 1 after eight years in the role of senior vice president of gaming operations. CDI has promoted Maureen Adams as his replacement.
Adams entered the company eight years ago and has served as vice president of gaming operations since 2019. Previously, she worked as president and general manager of Calder Casino in Miami Gardens, Florida.
Miller entered the company 15 years ago as president of fair grounds race course and slots in New Orleans, Louisiana, where he led the design, construction, and opening of the company’s first casino gaming operation.
In 2010, he was named president of Calder Casino in Miami Gardens, Florida, and in 2013 he started working at the company’s corporate headquarters in Louisville, Kentucky.

Churchill Downs has also announced the promotion of Ryan Jordan to senior vice president of Real Estate Development. Jordan joined the company in 2009 as vice president of operations for Churchill Downs Entertainment Group and was later named General Manager of Churchill Downs Racetrack.
