Live! Casino & Hotel Philadelphia continues construction work
The companies in charge of the construction of Live! Casino & Hotel Philadelphia has celebrated a “topping-off” ceremony.
US.- Stadium Casino and Gilbane Building Company are moving forward with the construction of Live! Casino & Hotel Philadelphia. The affiliate of The Cordish Companies and Gilbane celebrated with a traditional “topping-off” ceremony.
The event featured the presence of Pennsylvania State Senator Larry Farnese, Mayor James Kenny and City Councilman Kenyatta Johnson, along with dozens of regional business, community and tourism leaders.
The executives raised a final commemorative bean to complete the superstructure of the casino. The beam was adorned with hundreds of signatures from construction workers who have participated in the project.
The 1.5-million-square-foot Live! Casino & Hotel Philadelphia will feature 2,200 slots and electronic table games, more than 150 live-action table games, a Sportsbook, an upscale, 12-story, 200+ room boutique hotel. Live! Casino & Hotel Philadelphia will also have dining and live entertainment options.

Pennsylvania’s total revenue figures
Total revenue in September was US$285.3 million, a 5.43% increase from September 2018’s US$270 million. September’s gross revenue from slot machines at the 12 casinos was US$188 million. This is a 4% decrease in revenue when compared to the US$196 million generated in September 2018.
Tax revenue from the play of slots machines in September of this year was US$96 million. Table games revenue for September 2019 was US$70 million, a 2.35% setback over September 2018 when revenue was US$72 million.
Furthermore, online casino game gross revenue totalled US$5.3 million during September. This is a 55% increase over the August 2019 revenue total of US$3.4 million.
