Casino del Mar and BetMGM launch sportsbook at Mayagüez Resort & Casino in Puerto Rico
The companies have extended their partnership, which began three years ago at La Concha Hotel in San Juan.
Puerto Rico.- Casino del Mar and BetMGM have announced the launch of sportsbook at Mayagüez Resort & Casino. This will be a satellite location for their partnership at La Concha Hotel in San Juan.
Players in the western part of Puerto Rico can download the BetMGM Sportsbook app and visit the Mayagüez Resort & Casino to validate registration before using the platform.
Rolando Padua, president of Paulson Puerto Rico, said the new location represents a continued investment in the island’s economy. “Our commitment is to continue investing in the development of Puerto Rico, generating quality jobs, fostering partnerships with the tourism sector, and bringing world-class entertainment experiences to more communities,” he said.
Scott Woodgate, vice president of BetMGM, said: “Our expansion to the west of the island reaffirms our vision of providing players with a safe, reliable and transparent experience, supported by our responsible gaming tools and an operation that meets the highest industry standards.”
FanDuel’s sportsbook and app has also been available in Puerto Rico since January. The company has a retail sportsbook in partnership with CAGE Puerto Rico II (CAGE Sports) in San Juan.
