Cascades Casino North Bay opens in Ontario

Canada.- Gateway Casinos & Entertainment has opened Cascades Casino North Bay, in Ontario, Canada. The new casino represents an investment of $41m and the creation of 200 new jobs. The opening was delayed from 2020 because of the Covid-19 pandemic, with work resuming in April.
Located at 300 Pinewood Park Drive, Cascades features 300 slots, 6 table games, and 10 virtual tables. It also offers Match Eatery & Public House restaurant, with a variety of menu options and outdoor patio.
Gateway Casinos and Entertainment Ltd. is one of the largest gaming and entertainment companies in Canada, with 26 gaming properties in British Columbia and Ontario and two properties in Edmonton.
Gateway CEO Tony Santo said: “This is an exciting and long-awaited day for North Bay, Gateway Casinos and all our customers and employees. An official opening ceremony for the new Cascades Casino is planned for later this spring.
