California’s Morongo Casino to host job fairs
The Morongo Casino Resort & Spa in Cabazon will host hiring events on July 5 and July 19 as it seeks to fill 150 positions.
US.- The Morongo Casino Resort & Spa in Cabazon, California, will host hiring events in July, seeking to fill 150 positions. The first job fair will be on July 5, followed by another event on July 19. Both events will be held in the resort’s Grand Ballroom. The July 5 event will run from noon to 2pm and the July 19 event from 10am to noon.
Resort chief operating officer Richard St. Jean said: “We are pleased to continue our hiring efforts throughout July and to provide opportunities to world-class hospitality professionals to join our team. We welcome individuals with all types of hospitality experience.”
Similar recruitment events were held in February, March, April, and May as the casino seeks to hire new workers. A variety of positions remained unfilled, including cashiers, custodians, room attendants and security guards. The Marketplace food hall opened in May, and the resort is still in need of cooks, servers and hosts for the venue.
On April 1, Morongo Casino opened its new bingo and poker rooms. The new rooms were added as part of an expansion and renovation of the southern California venue that started in 2020 and has given Morongo one of the largest casino floors on the West Coast. The project also included a remodel of Morongo’s 310 suites and guest rooms.
