Shareholders at affiliate group Better Collective have approved the appointment of Therese Hillman to the board.

Denmark.- Shareholders at the Copenhagen-headquartered affiliate group Better Collective have approved the appointment of former NetEnt chief executive Therese Hillman to the group’s board.

Hillman was proposed as a member last month after she stepped down as CEO at slots supplier NetEnt following its acquisition by Evolution Gaming in March.

Her time at NetEnt, where she began as chief financial officer in January 2017 and became CEO in 2018, led to Hillman being seen as one of the most influential women in igaming.

At the company’s AGM, Better Collective’s shareholders also approved the reelection of Jens Bager as chairman of the group’s board of directors. The reappointments of Klaus Holse, Leif Nørgaard, Petra Von Rohr and Todd Dunlap as members of the board were also approved.

Last month, Better Collective acquired the sports betting media platform Rekatochklart.com from Win&Fun Media as it continues to seek expansion. In October last year, it acquired the pay-per-click specialist Atemi.
