Betsson launches Betsafe mobile sportsbook app in Colorado
The Betsafe app is launching in partnership with Dostal Alley.
US.- Betsson has announced the launch of its mobile sportsbook app under the Betsafe brand in Colorado, in partnership with Dostal Alley. The Betsafe app will allow players to place bets on sports and competitions with a number of betting and payment options.
Betsson´s sportsbook secured has GLI 33 certification from Gaming Laboratories International. The company opened an office in Downtown Denver to support its regional B2B operations. An account director for the B2B offering in the US has been recruited and a managing director for the B2C offering is also in place.
Betsson said: “The B2C launch of Betsafe serves as an opportunity to showcase Betsson’s proprietary, US-adapted sportsbook for new and existing operators on the market, making it an important component of the company’s B2B strategy in the country.”
“The GLI 33 certification that Gaming Laboratories International issued for the sportsbook in Colorado is also necessary for operating in several states, and thus serves as an important cornerstone in the establishment of Betsson’s B2B sportsbook offering in the country.”

Johan Lundberg confirmed as Betsson chairman
The board of Betsson has confirmed the election of Johan Lundberg as company chairman and has nominated three new executive directors ahead of its AGM on May 10. Eva de Falck, Louise Nylén and Tristan Sjöberg have been nominated as independent directors.
De Falck is a corporate governance advisor and has served as general counsel at Swedbank. She is currently chair of the risk and audit committees at Skandiabanken. Nylén was formerly chief marketing officer at the payment provider Trustly and the online gambling operator LeoVegas. Mr Sjöberg is CEO at TCSJOHNHUXLEY.
The company also appointed Roland Glasfors as its new vice president of corporate communications, sustainability, and investor relations. He joins the company’s executive leadership team from the payments provider Trustly AB. He will take up the role on May 2.
Described as an expert in corporate social responsibility, Glasfors has experience in gaming from a stint at NetEnt AB, the online casino games supplier acquired by Evolution Gaming in 2020. There he was responsible for investor relationships and stakeholder management.
