BetMGM and NHL´s Vegas Golden Knights extend partnership
The online sports betting operator will remain as the official betting partner of the Las Vegas hockey team.
US.- The online sports betting operator BetMGM has signed a multi-year extension to its partnership with National Hockey League (NHL) franchise the Vegas Golden Knights. BetMGM will remain an official betting partner for the team with a branding presence at the team’s T-Mobile Arena home in Las Vegas, Nevada.
BetMGM will also have brand exposure on Knight Tron. The operator will work with the franchise on a series of marketing activations, as well as web advertisements and exclusive co-branded sweepstakes.
BetMGM chief revenue officer Matt Prevost said: “We’re thrilled to continue what has been a great partnership with the Golden Knights and look forward to more seasons of offering fans truly unique experiences only available on BetMGM.”
Golden Knights president Kerry Bubolz added: “We’re excited to be continuing our great partnership with BetMGM. Just like the Golden Knights, BetMGM has become a key experience to the sports and entertainment industry in our community.”
Owned and operated by Black Knight Sports and Entertainment, the Vegas Golden Knights franchise was the first NHL team to ink a partnership with a sportsbook. In 2018, Golden Knights announced a multi-year partnership with William Hill US.
The franchise has also inked agreements with operators such as Wynn Resorts, IGT, and Caesars. Last month, after New York awarded its first sports betting licenses, Madison Square Garden Sports Corp and Madison Square Garden Entertainment Corp announced a multi-year partnership with BetMGM, one of the sportsbooks that will be available in New York once the sports betting market launches.
BetMGM has been named official sports betting partner of the New York Knicks, New York Rangers, and Madison Square Garden Arena.
