Betano signs sponsorship deal with Benfica
The brand has signed a three-year sponsorship deal with the Portuguese football team.
Portugal.- The Greek group Kaizen’s Betano brand has signed a three-year sponsorship arrangement with Portuguese football club SL Benfica.
The partnership makes Kaizen Gaming’s brand the first sleeve partner for the Primeira Liga team for both domestic and European fixtures.
George Daskalakis, chief executive of Kaizen Gaming, said: “We are excited to start working with this great club, together with whom we aim to undertake common social initiatives.
“This clearly highlights our strong commitment to the Portuguese market, an involvement we are determined to continue to demonstrate through our sustained support for sport and Portuguese society.”
Domingos Soares de Oliveira, Benfica’s chief executive, said: “This is a partnership with a new dimension for the club, and with a brand that is well implemented in sports and entertainment. Betano stands out for its innovation, especially in the digital area, and that is something with which we identify.”
In June, Betano signed a two-year deal to sponsor Sport Lisbon, replacing NOS on the front of the team’s shirt. It also sponsors Portugal’s SC Braga and CS Marítimo. Betano has had a presence in Portugal since 2019. It’s also present in Brazil, Romania, Germany, Cyprus and Greece.
