Authentic Gaming to provide live dealer casino table games in Michigan
The Michigan Gaming Control Board has authorised the firm to livestream real-time casino table games.
US.- The Michigan Gaming Control Board (MGCB) has authorised Authentic Gaming to livestream real-time casino table games with live dealers. The authorisation brings the number of live dealer providers in Michigan to three, with the other two being Playtech and Evolution.
Authentic Gaming will provide live dealer games through the Keweenaw Bay Indian Community with its platform provider Golden Nugget Casino under the Golden Nugget brand, and the Little River Band of Ottawa Indians with its platform provider Rush Street Interactive (RSI) under the BetRivers brand.
It will offer a range of live dealer gaming options, such as blackjack, baccarat, and roulette. The firm received approval after fulfilling Michigan’s internet gaming regulatory requirements, including an onsite review by MGCB staff.
MGCB executive director Henry Williams said: “Live dealer online casino table games offer an immersive and engaging gambling experience that combines the convenience of online gaming with the authenticity of the environment in a land-based casino. Players can enjoy the excitement of playing their favorite casino games with real dealers in real-time, all from the comfort of their home or wherever they may be.”
Michigan igaming and sports betting revenue reaches $175.4m in August
Michigan’s commercial and tribal operators reported a combined $175.4m in gross online casino gaming and sports betting receipts for August, down 0.4 per cent compared to July’s $176.1m. The Michigan Gaming Control Board (MGCB) reported that igaming gross receipts totalled $152.2m and gross sports betting receipts $23.2m.
Combined igaming and online sports betting adjusted gross receipts (AGR) were $153.1m: $137.2m from igaming and $15.9m from online sports betting, down 0.7 per cent and 3 per cent, respectively from July Igaming AGR was up by 16.8 per cent and sports betting down by 1.3 per cent compared to the same month in 2022.
