Denmark.- The Danish gambling regulator Spillemyndigheden has awarded a betting licence to Aspire Global, adding another jurisdiction for the igaming supplier.

It has offered casino gaming in Denmark since 2012, and will now be able to add sports betting to that as it looks to expand in Europe and the US.

Aspire Global, which has received a SEK4.3bn takeover offer from NeoGames, is active in more than 30 regulated markets with a particularly strong foothold in Latin America and Africa.

Tsachi Maimon, Aspire Global CEO, said: “Our offering has been considerably bolstered up by the acquisition of BtoBet and its proprietary sportsbook.

“We see significant growth opportunities by offering both existing partners and new customers across the world a leading comprehensive gaming offering covering the technology platform, sportsbook, games, games aggregation and managed services.”
