Asiabet33 signs deal with Fulham FC

Asiabet33 will be Fulham FC’s official Asian betting partner for the current season.

UK.- Despite growing sentiment turning against gambling sponsorship in the UK, the deals keep on coming. EFL Championship club Fulham FC has signed with Asiabet33 as its official Asian betting partner for the 2021/22 season.

The company offers technological solutions to the Asian betting and gaming market, with a presence in Malaysia, Singapore, Thailand and Japan.

Managing director and co-founder Leo Li said: “Asiabet33 is thrilled to be partnered with Fulham Football Club to service the Asian market. This partnership is a monumental opportunity for us to grow from strength to strength as a prominent player in the Asian gaming technology industry.

“Working with Fulham provides us with the necessary resources to hone the skill sets of our team members and deliver the best possible experience for our clients.”

The deal follows Fulham’s hook up with the betting and financial trading company Spreadex in July.

Jon Don-Carolis, Fulham FC Sales Director, said: “We are delighted to have Asiabet33 on board as our betting partner in the Asian region and look forward to working with them further to develop our global fanbase.”

Since Fulham was relegated from the Premier League to the Championship last season, Fulham may escape the highly expected ban on gambling sponsorship in top-flight football.

The UK government is expected to introduce restrictions as part of its ongoing review of gambling legislation, but it’s believed that ministers are wary about applying a ban to leagues any lower than the Premier League.

The English Football League has warned that such a ban would have a detrimental impact on the finances of clubs in the lower divisions.

However, last month, League One’s Bolton Wanderers FC announced it was putting an end to its connections with the gambling industry.
