Suncity to open new VIP gaming clubs in Macau
The clubs will be located at two Cotai casino resorts: The Londoner Macao and Grand Lisboa Palace.
Macau.- Suncity Group has announced it will launch new VIP gaming clubs at two Cotai casino resorts.
One of the VIP gaming clubs will be opened at The Londoner Macao, the newly refurbished and rebranded Sands Cotai Central, which has a British theme and a facade that replicates the Palace of Westminster.
The other club will be launched at the Grand Lisboa Palace, which SJM aims to open in the first half of 2021.
Francis Lui Yiu Tung, deputy chairman of the Macau casino operator Galaxy Entertainment Group, recently said the city’s VIP gaming sector was likely to be challenged by a series of legal changes introduced by the mainland China authorities.
The number of licensed junket operators in Macau was down to 85 at the latest count.
