MGM announces bonus for workers
Casino operator follows its rivals in delivering a “discretionary bonus” to its workers.
Macau.- After the announcements from Wynn Macau and Galaxy Entertainment Group, casino operator MGM China Holdings Ltd has announced it too will pay a “discretionary bonus” to eligible non-management employees.
The amount is equivalent to “one month’s salary,” the firm said in a press release and will be paid separated in two parts: the first in mid-January and the second in early February.
MGM China operates two venues in Macau – the MGM Macau and the MGM Cotai-, and said that “over 90 percent” of its staff would be awarded the discretionary bonus.
Wynn Macau Ltd, Galaxy Entertainment Group Ltd and SJM Holdings Ltd have, have also announced employee bonuses in recent weeks.
