After a 14-day ban, all commercial passenger flights to Macau will resume from January 24.

Macau.- Macau’s Novel Coronavirus Response and Coordination Centre has announced that the ban that prohibits the arrival of flights from outside China to Macau will be lifted from January 24. The ban had been taken as a Covid-19 countermeasure.

Those aged 12 and above who want to enter Macau must be fully vaccinated against Covid-19. Stricter quarantine measures have been implemented for incoming passengers from destinations deemed “very high-risk” in 22 countries/regions.

Before heading to Macau, travellers from these high-risk areas must present three negative Covid-19 nucleic acid test results within five days and at least 24 hours apart. They will be quarantined for 28 days after arriving in Macau.
