Macau: SJM donates body temperature equipment
Casino operator SJM Holdings has announced the donation of temperature screening systems for educational institutions.
Macau.- Casino company SJM Holdings has announced the donation of intelligent body temperature screening systems to the University of Macau (UM) Stanley Ho East Asia College and to Henry Fok Pearl Jubilee College.
According to the company, the systems donated will measure body temperatures of students, staff and visitors entering the two residential colleges, and provide instant alerts in case temperature rises.
As Macau begins to reopen borders, authorities have been imposing strict controls to try to prevent new cases of Covid-19. That involves several temperature control points throughout the city.
The government will also demand a negative Covid-19 test for all people attending events of more than 400 people.
SJM’s Chairman of the Board of Directors, Daisy Ho said in a statement:”In support of the university’s preventive work against the virus, we are glad to be able to lend a helping hand to the two residential colleges in protecting the health and safety of their residents and visitors”.
