Hotel Andaz to join Galaxy Macau 2021 project
Galaxy Entertainment Group reveals its plans to open an Andaz hotel in Macau in the first half of 2021.
Macau.- According to official announcement released on Tuesday, Galaxy Entertainment Group has announced the opening of Andaz first hotel in Macau (Andaz Macau), in 2021 as part of Galaxy Macau’s new Galaxy International Convention Center.
This will be the first collaboration between Hyatt Hotels Corp, luxury lifestyle hotel brand, Andaz and the Macau casino licensee.
Andaz Macau will be part of phases 3 and 4 of Galaxy Macau casino resort in the city’s Cotai district.
Andaz Macau will boast more than 700 rooms and suites, plus boost a dedicated check-in lounge catering to large MICE groups, an Andaz lounge, a bar and restaurant, state-of-the-art fitness center and also an indoor pool.
Furthermore, Galaxy Macau currently has 3,500 hotel rooms shared among five brands.
Tuesday’s announcement also said the Galaxy Macau Conference Centre would have 40,000 square meters. When open, GICC will cover 40,000 square meters of MICE space including a 10,000-square meter exhibition and a conference hall. It will also be home to the 16,000-seat Galaxy Arena for concerts and sporting events.

Similarly, with Andaz Macau, we will work closely with Hyatt to create experiences that truly showcase what is special about this destination, while further contributing to the strength of Macau’s tourism and MICE industries.”
Moreover, Galaxy Macau’s current hotel brands include The Ritz-Carlton Macau, Banyan Tree Macau, JW Marriott Hotel Macau, Hotel Okura Macau, Galaxy Hotel and Broadway Hotel.
