Two casino workers diagnosed with Coronavirus
According to the Malaysian Health Bureau, a 31-year-old patient works at Melco’s City of Dreams in Macau.
Malaysia.- A Malaysian man who works for Melco’s City of Dreams Macau has been diagnosed with Coronavirus.
According to Malaysia’s Health Bureau, the 31-year-old patient had visited Zhuhai several times when he was in Macau, before returning home to Malaysia on 1 February when he was diagnosed with the deadly virus two days later.
“We believe the chances that he infected other people in Macau is very low,” officials said.
It is not the only Coronavirus case confirmed in Malaysia this week. A 35-year-old Singapore resident who works at Resorts World Sentosa has contracted the virus, now officially known as Covid-19.
The casino worker first reported symptoms on February 5 but only went for check-up at a local healthcare clinic on February 9. He was transferred to Tan Tock Seng Hospital and is now being treated in isolation.
