Arizona sports betting handle increases in April

The sports betting handle was up 13.7 per cent year-over-year.

US.- Arizona’s sports betting handle totalled $746m in April, up 13.7 per cent when compared to April of 2024. The Arizona Department of Gaming says the state collected $4.3m in privilege fees.

Gross receipts before the deduction of free bets totalled $64.8m. Winnings paid to players $680.5m. Of the total handle, $742.4m was registered online and $4m in retail locations. DraftKings took $239.5m ($237.5m online), FanDuel $228m ($227.1m online), and BetMGM $86.2m ($85.6m online).

The state’s record monthly handle remains $867.6m set in November 2024.

The ADG recently announced $45.3m in tribal gaming contributions to the Arizona Benefits Fund for the fourth quarter of Fiscal Year (FY) 2025. The figure was up 4 per cent year-over-year.
