Arizona regulator issues more cease-and-desist letters to unlicensed operators
The Arizona Department of Gaming has sent letters to four operators that are reportedly offering access to illegal online gambling.
US.- The Arizona Department of Gaming (ADG) has issued cease-and-desist orders to four more unlicensed gambling operators. The regulator has said they were offering access to illegal online gambling, including sweepstakes and event wagering.
ADG issued letters to Fliff Online Gambling (event wagering sportsbook), Thrillzz Mobile Gambling (event wagering sportsbook), BettySweeps Casino (sweepstakes), and Pulsz Casino (sweepstakes). Each operator has been directed to cease operations and take steps to prevent state residents and visitors from gambling on their websites.
The regulator said: “This latest action underscores the Department’s commitment to protecting the public and upholding Arizona’s gaming laws. ADG continues to actively monitor, investigate, and take enforcement action against entities attempting to exploit Arizona residents through unauthorized gambling activities, including possible enforcement actions in partnership with the Arizona Attorney General’s Office.”
The ADG has launched its first statewide campaign focused on promoting public awareness and reducing harms associated with unregulated gambling. It’s launched Check Your Bet, a website for verifying regulated gaming and accessing consumer protection tools.
