Apache Nugget Travel Center & Casino to open sportsbook in New Mexico
Apache Nugget Corporation will open the sportsbook with ISI Race & Sports.
US.- The Jicarilla Apache Nation’s Apache Nugget Corporation will open a race and sportsbook at its Travel Center & Casino in New Mexico in partnership with ISI Race & Sports. The new space will open in August.
The casino at the intersection of US Highway 550 and State Highway 537 reopened in February after being closed since the Covid-19 pandemic. It has 80 slot machines and electronic table game stations, including blackjack, video poker, roulette, craps and baccarat.
Tony J. Amormino, president and CEO of Apache Nugget Corporation, said: “We’ve heard our guests loud and clear: they want the ability to legally wager on races and sports. In a few short weeks, they’ll be able to do just that.”
