Benin.- National lottery operators from across the West African Economic and Monetary Union (UEMOA) region are meeting in Cotonou, Benin this week as part of ongoing efforts to deepen collaboration and support innovation in the sector.

The 23rd UEMOA regional lottery meeting officially opened on May 4 at the headquarters of the National Lottery of Benin (LNB) in Cotonou and will continue through to May 8. The opening ceremony was followed by Committee of Experts meetings held at the organisation’s conference facilities.

The gathering brings together national lottery companies and Pari Mutuel Urbain (PMU) operators from across the UEMOA bloc, highlighting continued regional coordination among state-backed gaming organisations in Francophone West Africa.
