Tanzania Gaming Association consults PwC on sustainable regulation
TGA says the consultation focused on key industry issues as stakeholders seek greater collaboration and continued sector development.
Tanzania.- Tanzania Gaming Association (TGA) has held a consultative meeting with global professional services network PwC (PricewaterhouseCoopers) to discuss key issues affecting the gaming industry and practical approaches to building a more sustainable regulatory environment.
PwC provides advisory and consulting services across business, tax and assurance, with its expertise relevant to the broader regulatory and industry discussions.
The TGA said the meeting addressed key industry issues and Tanzania’s regulatory environment, according to an official LinkedIn post. The association said: “TGA remains committed to strengthening stakeholder collaboration and advocating for the continued growth and development of Tanzania’s Gaming Industry.”
The consultation follows a recent engagement on August 12 between Tanzania’s licensed gaming operators, the TGA and Tanzania Revenue Authority (TRA), which focused on compliance, stakeholder collaboration and the continued development of a transparent and sustainable gaming sector.
The consultation comes as Tanzania’s gaming industry continues to engage on its regulatory framework, with the Gaming Board of Tanzania (GBT) responsible for overseeing, monitoring and regulating gaming activities, including licensing and compliance.
