Sun International names Nomzamo Radebe as COO of hospitality and sales

Ulrik Bengtsson, Sun International’s Chief Executive Officer, described the appointment as a key moment in the company’s journey.

South Africa.- Sun International has appointed Nomzamo Radebe as its new Chief Operating Officer for hospitality and sales, effective February 2. The move forms part of the group’s broader strategy to strengthen its operational leadership as it advances its long-term transformation agenda.

A qualified chartered accountant, Radebe brings more than 27 years of experience in property and real estate management to the company, including more than 20 years in senior executive positions and high-profile leadership roles across the industry.

She previously served as Chief Operating Officer at SA Corporate Real Estate Ltd and as CEO of Excellerate JHI, where she managed large, complex property portfolios and spearheaded initiatives to enhance operational efficiency. She currently sits on the board of the South African Property Owners Association (SAPOA) and has received widespread recognition for her professional contributions, including the Five Star Woman Award and the Institute of People Management (IPM) Business Leader of the Year award.

In her new role, Radebe will lead the company’s efforts to optimise operations, strengthen sales performance and drive innovation across its hospitality and gaming portfolio. She said: “I am excited to join a strong brand like Sun International. I look forward to collaborating with various teams to drive performance and deliver on our business strategies and value-creation plans in the hospitality division.”
