SPRIBE reports 53 per cent surge in Aviator crash game in Africa
Monthly active users jump as Africa emerges as a vital market for SPRIBE’s global expansion strategy.
South Africa.- SPRIBE is flying high in Africa. The company behind the viral crash game Aviator has reported a 53.93 per cent year-over-year spike in monthly active users across the continent, firmly positioning Africa as a key driver in its global growth strategy.
In 2024 alone, Africa contributed 19.81 per cent of new global player inflows for Aviator, underscoring its significance in SPRIBE’s international expansion plans. The continent’s youthful, mobile-first population, combined with surging smartphone penetration, is creating fertile ground for growth.
Player interest in Africa is not just sticking; it is soaring. Retention rates nudged up by 2.23 per cent, while average bets per player took a confident 9.83 per cent leap. The message is clear: players are not just showing up, they are staying, betting and buying into the Aviator thrill ride.
The strategy
SPRIBE’s strategy goes well beyond user acquisition. The brand’s recent partnerships with entertainment giants UFC and WWE offer unprecedented global visibility. Aviator now appears on the Octagon canvas at every UFC event and features at select WWE shows, paired with social campaigns and high-end hospitality packages.
“The relationships we have forged with UFC and WWE are meaningful building blocks in our roadmap to global expansion and market penetration,” said David Natroshvili, SPRIBE’s founder and CEO, according to the Spread Online publication.
“We look forward to building on this momentum to deliver maximum upside for our key stakeholders.”
While Africa is gaining momentum, SPRIBE is also making waves elsewhere. Asia Pacific saw astronomical growth in 2024, with a 629.67 per cent increase in monthly active users on Aviator and strong performances in India.
In Europe, regulatory licences from the Malta Gaming Authority and UK Gambling Commission have reinforced SPRIBE’s legitimacy, with the UK becoming a core market for Aviator. The company’s adoption of blockchain and provably fair algorithms has strengthened trust among players worldwide.
In December 2024, Aviator processed over $14bn in wagers globally, further validating the company’s position as a powerhouse in the igaming sector. Africa’s surge is not just a trend. It is a signal that the continent is becoming one of the most exciting frontiers in the global gaming landscape.
